Hey everybody! Sooooo I wasn't even the right Kenny, but here I am! I'm very excited for this game to start  First off, this twist? Kinda cool. I don't know what's in the House Next Door but it can't be worse than the War Room, right? Maybe there will be some sexy man-candy in a cake! Now THAT would be a bonus. So far, I've talked to Alex, Sabrina, Angie and Keesha. Alex is my favorite. He's definitely smart and knows his shiz. I'm enjoying our conversation the most. Keesha comes next. She's very upbeat and easy to talk to, but I also feel like she would backstab me if the wind blew the wrong way. Angie is third. She seems nice, but the conversation just died. I'll keep talking to her, but I don't feel like making ALL the effort, you gotta give a little to get a little. Finally, there's Sabs. As a HUGE BBCAN fan, I was very excited to see her but she has not yet lived up to expectations. 16 people is soooooooooo many. I have to be nice to everyone since that's part of my strategy, but ugh I can already tell it's going to be exhausting. |

Another update: Topaz clearly does not know how to use AIM and Roddy is also pretty awesome. Alliance with Roddy and Alex? Though, I'm not gonna pull a Devin yet.

Alliances are like dating. Making one too soon makes you seem desperate. Wait too long and the person you want to allign with will be swept up already. It's a delicate balance.

So I started talking to Kevin, who told me that he didn't IM me before b/c he put my screen name in wrong and I happen to think that's hilarious. I once went the entire merge without talking to someone for that same thing, so I'm glad he caught it at the beginning. He's kind of random, but I love random. It makes the game so much more fun at the beginning.

Night One summary: I think I did a decent job of chatting with the house. My strategy is to be the "nice Canadian" because it fits Kenny a bit. Plus, it's easier to be nice to people than be mean. I didn't talk to everyone because let's face it, that's exhausting but I feel that for the first night, I made a lot of headway! It's still early, but I feel not terrible about where I am in this game right now.

So I saw the results of the HND and I didn't win, but I didn't do horribly either. I'm pretty satisfied with my performance, knowing that I'm not a *complete* disaster at challenges so far, just a little bit. I wasn't able to be at the HoH so I was very nervous but then Kevin won. Since I talked to Kevin a good deal last night, I feel pretty safe. Then, to top it all off, he suggested an alliance of me, him, Alex and Sabrina! How awesome is that! 2/3 people I felt strongly about wanted to allign with me and I can tell that Sabrina and I can build a strong relationship. In this alliance, I need to make sure that I am not on the bottom but I don't have to quite worry about that right now.
I sent a message to Ronnie and he didn't respond. Obviously an amazing conversationalist right there.

Night two summary: I feel like I solidified my relationship with Kevin a lot more tonight. The 4 of us are going to make the most multi-cultural alliance ever to hit Big Brother. I wish that I got to talk to Alex, but I'm sure that I'll talk to him tomorrow. I bonded with Sabrina a lot more and I feel much better about working with her than I did originally. I also feel that I worked my relationship with Roddy and Keesha a little bit. I could have done better, but I'm not in any immediate danger with them.
Brendon and Ronnie are the two most boring people on the planet. Ronnie doesn't know what's going on and he'll probably go home #notmyproblem

So, I check the board all day and see that Ronnie and Natalie are nominated. That part wasn't shocking. Then, all of a sudden, I see that Jenn is nominated?! Where did THAT come from? This game really keeps you on your toes. I didn't get picked for veto, but I suppose that's okay. I just wanted to play more games I finally met Kaitlin tonight. She's pretty awesome. I don't know what will happen in the future, but I hope she stays around for a few rounds. I also made an alliance with Roddy. I am still unsure how I feel about him, but I need to have as much safety as I can get. He seems to be "out of the alliance loop" so hopefully this means he'll be loyal to me! |
