Well, Natalie left us last round. I fully expected her to leave, because people just couldn't stand her. I actually didn't have a problem with Natalie, and enjoyed talking to her. So, I thought I would throw her a pity vote, and people would be scrambling to figure out who that one vote was. It was my attempt, at trying to cause some chaos on the game, but when the vote was read and I saw it was almost a split vote; I was literally shocked.
We got to the next Head of Household competition, and it was a carnival themed game. We had to enter a House of Mirrors, and correctly identify the distorted pictures of all sixteen people of the Big Brother Pulse cast. I completely failed royally, for like the third challenge in a row, and that is starting to get annoying. The only bright side of that to me, was maybe people will think I am somewhat of a weak person, and not view me as a threat. Regardless, it is definitely hard for me to keep losing competitions. I'm a competitor, a fierce competitor, and as one I hate losing with a passion.
Once again, I was hoping someone I was close to would pull through and win this competition, so I could have a relatively easy week. I had a good chance at that happening, hell other than myself I felt like I would be safe for the week if Kenny, Alex, Cody, Brendon, Gina Marie, or Keesha won. But, once again that group also let me down, and Jee pulled off the Head of Household win. I was extremely disappointed, because I had literally like never spoken to Jee other than a few Private Messages back and forth.
I knew there was a chance I may go up on the block for eviction with Jee as Head of Household, but I also knew I had one more chance to save myself with the House Next Door competition. In the HND Competition, we had to deflect as much slop away from ourselves as we could, for five minutes. I really bust my ass in this competition, and put up a pretty decent score. But, as things have come to be in this game, I lost yet another competition. It came down to a tie breaker between Gina Marie and Kaitlin, and Kaitlin was whisked off to the HND with safety for the week.
It was a very short time later that Dan had let all of us know that Kevin may be expelled from the game due to his inactivity. I was once again annoyed with hearing that, because like I had explained when Ronnie quit, if it wasn't for luck I wouldn't even be here, and I feel bad for the other people who weren't originally picked that may be watching these people getting expelled or quitting. As always, I tried to find a bright side out of this news, and figured I could talk to Jee about an easy week as Head of Household.
Later that night, Jee and I had our first real conversation of the game. I knew when he won HoH that there was a real chance I could be going up for eviction, but I don't quit, and I will fight until the eviction votes are read. I kind of kissed his ass about winning the HoH Competition, and sucked up to him by apologizing for the fact that we hadn't really had the opportunity to talk yet. Hell, I even tried to play on his kindness, by letting him know that I would completely understand if he put me up for eviction due to the fact we hadn't talked much. Of course, that one was completely full of shit. After we got the news about Kevin, I talked to him about how he could have an easy week of power, without making any enemies or getting any blood on his hands. All he had to do was put up Kevin who was on the verge of getting kicked out, and Jenn who absolutely no one talks to.
Meanwhile, I was talking with Alex about everything, because I have been pretty close to Alex since the beginning of the game. I was kind of filling him in on what Jee and I were talking about, but then Alex threw a complete curve ball at me, and let me know that Jee had asked Production if his HoH reign would be cancelled if Kevin was expelled. Come to find out, that the only way the week would end like that, would be if Kevin went on the block. If he wasn't on the block, he'd be expelled, and the week would continue on as normal. And, apparently Jee is a complete moron, because he decided to take that path. This is where our story takes a sad turn for a brief period of time my dear fans and readers. He picked nominations to be Jenn, and yours truly.
I was completely outraged. I mean, I know there was an extremely good chance that I would be in this position, but I still cannot grasp the fact that someone had the opportunity to not make any waves in the game, and have an easy week by nominating Kevin for eviction, but instead decided to step up his game and try to make a move.
The one thing that he didn't expect though, and may still not be aware of is that he decided to get my blood on his hands. Roddy's blood. And, that's about the biggest mistake that anyone can make. Because, once I know that you've got it out for me, I'm going to put your face in the cross hairs of my scope, and start shooting back.
I had a lot of people come up to me, and try and make me feel better about things, which I wasn't even upset. It's a game, I get it, only one person is going to win. But, it was nice to have reassurance from a few people that I am close with, that I shouldn't really have anything to worry about this week. Reassurance is one thing, but I don't know these people from Adam. I am going to put my fate in my own hands, and step up to win the Power of Veto, and make sure I sail into week four. I also made it known to Alex, that Jee had awoken the beast in me, and that from now on, I plan on going into every single competition that I compete in, and give it my absolute best. I didn't want to be seen a a big competition threat in the game, but now I really don't care.
I did receive a little bit of extra hope with the veto though. Cody, Brendon, and Gina Marie were all picked to play with Jee, Jenn, and myself. I never asked any of them directly if they'd use the Veto on me should they win it, but I would like to think that I had built good enough relationships with all three of them, that they would. We were greeted with a pleasant surprise for the Power of Veto competition. Super Cassandra was out guest host in this Casino themed competition.
Let me just state, that I love gambling, and I love casinos, so I had a really good feeling that this competition would be tailor made for me. It was like a sign that I was going to finally end my losing streak in competitions. But, then everything was explained and my world went crashing down. We had to break into a bunch of different slot machines by answering questions about past seasons of the series. If we were the first person to break into a slot machine, we claimed that slot machine. We were collectively given fifteen minutes to break into and claim as many slot machines as we could, and then after the time was up, Super Cassandra would spin the roulette wheel, and whomever had claimed the slot machine that the roulette wheel stopped on would win the Power of Veto. I was really confident in my ability to break into the slot machines, but lady luck isn't usually much of a friend of mine, so I was disappointed that this competition was going to come down to nothing but pure luck.
All of the slot machines had been claimed with plenty of time to spare, and I was a little disappointed because I had missed out on two of them by literally seconds. When all was said and done, I had claimed thirteen, Brendon had ten, and Cody had two. So, between the three of us we had all but ten of the numbers for the Veto, and I was confident that I would be off the block, although I still had no confirmation that either of them would use the veto on me. Super Cassandra spun the wheel, and it stopped on number 14. Wouldn't you know it my dear readers and friends, that number had been claimed by yours truly.
It didn't take me long to make my decision with the Power of Veto. I was on the block, I was going to use it on myself, so I held the ceremony almost immediately after the competition. Sorry about that Dan and Suzette, if that was a problem! But, I took the opportunity to once again get a dig in at Jee, and let him know that he had to get more blood on his hands when he shouldn't have ever had to. He chose to nominate Kenny as my replacement.
If there was one person that I was disappointed to see get nominated as my replacement, it was Kenny. Kenny and I have been really close since the beginning of the game. If I had to pick, I would easily consider him my closest ally in the game, and a few weeks ago we had coined ourselves Team Rodny. I was heartbroken. I immediately went up to him and apologized for it happening, but he was chill about things. He knew I had to save myself. I was extremely elated when he talked a little bit of shit about Jee, and made it known to me that Jee is his target. I now have someone else to fight my battle against Jee with, and it just happens to be my closest ally!
For the first time this entire game, Jenn decided to have a conversation with me. I almost fell out of my chair and had a heart attack. I am not sure why she picked week three to decide to start playing the game, and talking strategy with people, but I entertained her anyway. To be honest, I think Jenn is an extremely smart girl, and she brought up a lot of good points. If she stays in the game, she's probably going to be nominated every week, which means better odds of escaping the block each week, and she also suggested that if we were together, it would be totally unexpected, since I had nominated her the first week. Like I said, both are very good points, and if she were nominated with anyone else, I would have actually given them a little bit of thought and consideration. But, since she is nominated with Kenny, there is no way and hell I would consider saving her or anyone of him.
I really don't think Kenny has anything to worry about this week, because I think people are ready to start playing the game, and we can all finally start doing that once Jenn, the last of the inactives leaves the game. She had even campaigned to Kaitlin, who as far as I know doesn't have a vote this week due to being in the HND. Kaitlin and I were talking about it, and she thinks it is pretty shifty how Jenn is deciding to play the game now as well, but thinks it is too little too late. I do think that Kaitlin may have unleashed a power this week in the HND, and I have a feeling that it could have to do with the eviction vote. Suzette had made a comment in the Group Chat, about how Iris needed to let Kaitlin know what happened at the Veto Ceremony. I found this a little odd, because when I was in the HND, Iris didn't let me know what was going on in the game, unless it effected the power I had unlocked, and I'm pretty sure the same thing happened when Alex was there. So, there is a reason Iris has to let Kaitlin know what happened at the veto ceremony, and I'm speculating that her power has to do with this eviction in one way or another. I could be completely off base with this theory, but there's something up with that, and if I'm right, it should help Kenny out, base on the conversation I had with her about Jenn campaigning and deciding to start playing the game on week three.
I told Kenny about Jenn's campaigning, and that he may want to just touch base with some people to secure the votes, but that if anyone approached me about the vote, I'd let them know that I feel Jenn is about a week to late for the game, and needs to go. I keep trying to reassure Kenny that he is going to stay, even though I have no clue. I hope he does, because I told him that the two of us are going to start beasting these competitions, because I don't want either of us to have to go through a week like this again.
