Right now I am absolutely floored by that chat with Alex. The Sharknados sans moi is now public knowledge and that of course makes me the prime suspect in the rat category. But I'm not a rat - I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to rats actually.

This is just seriously catastrophic and probably one of two situations played out - either as Alex says, Angie ratted us out to Kenny and Kenny directed the information to Roddy who confronted Alex, or perhaps GinaMarie let something slip to somebody, because I did tell GinaMarie about my alliance and I think she likes and trusts me, but I don't think that affinity extends to the other Sharknados by association.

If GinaMarie said something to someone, it's basically game over for me, because the Sharknados sure as hell wouldn't trust me again, GinaMarie clearly would have other options at her disposal and I don't have particularly strong relationships with any of the other housemates, with the exception of Kaitlin who agreed to work with me a while back.

Now if GinaMarie didn't say anything, then it means Angie shredded up the Sharknados, Jee goes out the door, Topaz is next on the chopping block, and I'm left with GinaMarie and Alex as the only people in my corner... and they don't even get along with each other!

Both scenarios are really disastrous for my game and obviously I need to chat with GinaMarie as soon as possible to get to the bottom of this. Personally, I don't think she spilled anything, but I'll know more once I talk to her. The fact that the alliance was unveiled minus me could mean that GinaMarie was trying to shoot the others down and not have me caught in the crossfire, or it could be Angie's nifty trick to frame me for her crimes. Again, neither situation is great for me.

The chat with Alex also left me rather disenchanted with the Sharknados. I always felt like I was their #5, the guy they just brought in as a number who they could drag along and use for votes. I don't know if they even know they're doing it, but when they talk to me, the way they talk shows that most if not all of them are much closer to each other than they are to me. I don't claim to be a linguistics expert but the subtlety in their lexicality when they chat with me reveals a lot. Just looking at that last chat for example, Alex said "Cause I mean if it was all of our names I would have auto thought Jee told Keesha or Angie told Kenny" - this one sentence alone highlights, underlines, italicises and boldens my concerns - it shows that they tell each other stuff about who they talk to and how they feel about other housemates and most of this I hear through Alex's off-hand comments like "X thinks Y would nominate Z" and it makes me feel like the outsider - the smallest Sharknado in the school.

So with the potential impending collapse of the Sharknados and the uncertainty over GinaMarie's stance, it has really opened my eyes to the importance of solidifying this thing with Kaitlin. Kaitlin could be my last chance of salvaging this sinking ship. This is now priority number one before I become persona non grata.

I had a very positive chat with Kaitlin which left me feeling a lot happier about my place in the house. The plan for Week 5 is to scout out where everyone stands and then use that information to construct an alliance - a group that would be loyal and a group that would help Kaitlin and myself advance deep into the game.

Kaitlin doesn't want to include Brendon, Angie or Sabrina based on that chat, and she likes Topaz, who is of course a Sharknado. Would Topaz agree to a new alliance that didn't include the rest of the Sharknados? I don't know, but that could be a potentially awkward situation for me if Kaitlin and I decide to include her. Meanwhile Alex was talking earlier about how Angie was adamant about keeping Kenny and Kaitlin which really contradicts what Kaitlin is saying, so maybe Alex is out of the loop much more than I thought...

Anyway, it was a productive chat with Kaitlin. It set up the building blocks for the next part of the game... hopefully. Now I need to talk to GinaMarie and get to the bottom of the Sharknado mess.

This is freaking CRAZY man, like what the hell is happening right now. She told Roddy about the Sharknados minus me and she's working with him? On one hand I am FURIOUS that she just blew up my game basically but on the other hand she is so honest and forthcoming about her intentions that I believe what she is telling me, and I believe that she inadvertently screwed me over - she excluded my name to try to protect me, but she didn't think of the consequences of Roddy telling someone else!

And now she wants to take out ANGIE!?!?!?!?!? I don't even know what to think anymore - I was thinking Angie was the snake five minutes ago and now I learned that she is very much loyal to the Sharknados - or at least I have no reason to think she's not.

This is screwed up, really screwed up... moral of the story is that I can trust GinaMarie but I need to tell be careful about what and how much I tell her, because she acts without thinking sometimes.

I need to catch up on my sleep, but I've probably got a day of major damage control ahead of me, and I don't even have any clue what to do or what to say...

This needs a lot of thought, I really don't know how much actual sleep I'm going to be getting tonight...

I may or may not have remembered to write about that in the DR earlier but basically when the Sharknados were trying to get Kenny out, I was trying to recruit GinaMarie to vote with us and I told her some of that information to get her on side, but I don't think she's a fan of some or all of the people in my alliance.

Now I gotta think of how to handle this lol.

This morning Kaitlin was telling me that GinaMarie told her to vote Angie out, and that Brendon, Sabrina and I had agreed with her about it and wanted to know if it was true. I told Kaitlin truthfully that GinaMarie had approached me right after my chat with her late at night and told me to do it and I just told her that I would and went right to bed.

Kaitlin doesn't really mind who goes home - as she says, both are threats and neither is someone she wants to work with - so now with the eviction looming, I need to figure out whether or not GinaMarie has sufficient votes and what to do about it.

This is literally last minute decision making, and it could be a huge decision.

So I've decided to tell the Sharknados what happened with the whole fiasco of last night. I feel like they already suspect me as it is and they're not going to suspect me any less if I act innocent - although I thought I WAS innocent when I was speaking to Alex last night. They probably will want nothing to do with me and I'll probably be nominated if one of them win HoH next week, but if I can salvage some sort of relationship with them, it will benefit me going forward.

I just feel like I'm out of the loop on all the goings on inside the house and I need to get my hands on a bit of power to turn things in my favour, which is why I need to win HoH really badly for next week and play this game on my terms and stop playing on other peoples' terms.
