Episode 6

[Cody Calafiore]

Looks like Cody is still in the house. My Dutch Princess is gone but I'm here to fight another day and I'm excited about the next week. Hopefully I can finally get my first competition win, preferably in the next HoH competition.

We've got an Endurance-type challenge for this one. I don't love this type of thing - nobody does - but at the end of the day, it is something I could potentially win. I will go for a few hours and hang on as long as possible. As long as I don't make an error, I am in with a shot.

I need to win it, or have someone friendly win it at least. After the events of last week plus the little chat I had with Alex right before the eviction, I don't feel safe in this house.

So the first thing that happened after the eviction was Sabrina left me an offline message saying that she wanted to talk to me about something. I admit I am super curious what she wants to talk about since we haven't talk in ages - like since pre-#getcodylaid so I am intrigued to see what she has to say when we finally meet up.

So I hung on in that Endurance Challenge for four hours... I would have hung on even more but I completely fucked up that 5 posts per minute right from the first minute... :/

Will four hours be enough? I sure hope so, otherwise I will strangle myself with Angie's hair for spending that much time for no reason. There's no denying that it's a good time, but it's also a beatable time, and who knows how long these guys are prepared to hang on for?

That was one hectic competition though. I survived my router rebooting itself during the first hour, a bathroom break during the second hour during which I had to drag my computer into the toilet for the first time in my life spilling Coke over myself during the third hour and my runny nose kicking back up again during the fourth hour, only to completely butcher the start of the fifth hour with no distractions...

Fingers crossed, let's hope this gets me into that HoH room. Lord knows I need it.

Very interesting stuff!!! Sadly I can never seem to catch Sabrina for a chat, she's too busy tanning or something, but I am curious to hear what this deal she wants to strike will be! I assume it's a "don't nominate me, I won't nominate you" kind of arrangement, which I'd be cool with - I haven't really talked much with her and I'm 99.99% sure she was the only person who voted against me at the last eviction, but she isn't my primary target with Keesha still in the house. Also, on the off chance that Sabrina pulls off HoH, the arrangement could very easily ensure that I get a spot on the jury at the very least, so that could be beneficial.

Of course, she could have some different kind of deal in mind, so I won't speculate further until I get the chance to actually talk with her. Definitely consider me interested though.

Well that chat jumps to a LOT of premature conclusions but it does accurately sum up my thought process if I were to win HoH and it goes along with what Alex and I were talking about yesterday.

It also reveals Sabrina's agenda - seems like she is just making deals with everyone to get her a spot on the jury and she is content just to go home next week or whenever. Not exactly bad news, although I suppose the 6-1 vote really rattled her and might have deflated her.

I'm not the type of person who likes to think that far ahead and jump to conclusions when I could rather easily be beaten in the HoH Competition, but it was a nice chat. I am a nervous wreck right now waiting for these results to be revealed!

Someone needs to like cause a North-America-wide power outage or something except for Dan and Suzette. That would greatly bolster my chances.

Yes I spent my whole Friday night doing this while Angie probably got drunk again, Topaz dyed her hair blonde and Brendon probably made Brenchel babies. Good thing some of these people have lots of friends!

ANYWAY, I just wanted to thank a few people for this win! I want to thank my parents, for giving birth to me, I want to thank the midwife for getting me out safely, I want to thank Natalie for adding me on Facebook if she has because she had better otherwise she's a liar, I want to thank Roddy for not doing the challenge for 13 hours since he thought he might be able to if he didn't have work, I want to thank Jesus for saving all of us, I want to thank the nation of Equatorial Guinea because it's amazing, I want to thank my router for rebooting during the first hour when I only had to post one per minute and not killing me later on, I want to thank GinaMarie for spending quality time with me this summer even though we barely spoke other than when I offered her sex for safety and she accepted and most importantly, I want to thank Topaz for posting the wrong phrase. What a goddess.

As expected, Angie used her Red Card on Roddy. The good news for Roddy is that with me as HoH he is not going anywhere, barring some random twist being unleashed from the House Next Door. Angie asked me before using it what I was thinking, and I said I was thinking of targeting Keesha at this point but said that if she wanted to use her power on Roddy, she was welcome to.

Very interesting that she didn't use it on Keesha - I didn't tell her to, but I would think that if the roles were reversed and she was targeting somebody, I would use it on her target to help her out.

Well Keesha started scrambling early... I don't blame her, she obviously knows that I would nominate her.

The conversation was interesting though - I'm inclined to believe that she doesn't know anything about a "big group" like the Detonators and that she is not part of one either. It could be that Alex is reading too much into various things, which is something I'm also inclined to believe is true, because I don't believe Kaitlin has strong allegiances with some of these people.

I was very much telling Keesha the truth when I said I didn't take her nominating me personally or anything, and if I were to nominate her (which is a very strong possibility assuming she doesn't go the House Next Door) then it's not out of spite or revenge, it's just the smartest thing to do strategically, otherwise I'd be making enemies for no reason.

Very interesting to hear her reasoning for nominating me, though.

After this little chat with Roddy, I'm thinking that he's probably the best person to send to the House Next Door in the event that I win. He can't play in the competition, so I guess I can play on his behalf. I'm not sure how that would sit with Angie though...

I had a long chat with Sabrina about anything and everything after finally finding her. (Below is the important part.)

I'm very curious to see what kind of information Sabrina will deliver - I don't want to nominate her and unless things go seriously wrong with both the HND and the PoV, then I wouldn't at this stage.
