So at the end of last round Gina Marie left the game, in her Refatard and all. I was kind of sad to see her go, because I've always gotten along with her, but I just felt Cody would be able to help my game more in the long run. I kind of figured Gina Marie would have a little bit more support to stay in the house, and I wasn't expecting just one person to save her.
At the start of the next HOH we were notified that it would be the last round before the jury was to start. I was pretty determined to survive this week, because the jury was the first goal I had in this game. For the HOH competition we were to walk on a plank, by posting every minute for the first hour, then we had to post twice a minute in the second hour, all the way up to a maximum of five times per minute from five hours on, until we messed up. I am pretty good at these competitions, so I felt fairly confident. I had pulled up a world clock in order to time my posts correctly, and after an hour and a half I was pissed that the forum was off on time with the world clock. It was too much of a pain in the ass to try and decipher what the board time was, when I was posting at the same time on the world clock, yet the seconds would be different every time. So, I finally just decided to quit, and risk it.
Luckily for me Cody was able to win HOH, and I got second place, and once again several people just decided not to play. I was pretty excited with Cody winning HOH, because I knew that he'd keep me safe for the week. I also knew that Angie was going to keep me from playing the HND competition due to her veto prize from last round, so I was totally expecting it when she announced I wouldn't be playing. Fortunately for me, Cody had agreed to play, and send me if he won, since he wasn't allowed to send himself. It didn't matter though, because Angie won and sent herself, and that made me extremely nervous, because I had a feeling that with it being the last time someone could go, the power would be something big.
I had another setback when Cody decided to nominate Kenny and Keesha for the block, because at the time they were my two closest allies in the house. I had tried to get him to nominate Sabrina, who had been revealed as his sole vote to evict last round, but it was all in vain. I kind of had to play that I wasn't disappointed about the nominations to Cody, just in case the POV happened to get used, I didn't want to go up on the block as a replacement. It seemed like we waited forever for the POV competition.
While we were waiting, Alex had informed me that Angie had a power kind of like a coup. He told me that she was allowed to remove one of the nominations from the block, and replace them with someone of her choosing. He told me that she planned to take Kenny off the block, and replace him with either myself or Sabrina. I really wasn't surprised that I was in the running, we sort of have a rivalry in this game, and any chance we get, we're going to try and take shots at the other in order to weaken their game, or completely remove them from the game. But, a little bit later Alex had told me she decided not to use the power. It had been awhile since I had been to the HND, but I thought I had remembered that if you chose to press a button, you had to use the power it unlocked.
The next day it was revealed that Angie had taken Kenny off the block, but instead of me going up, she did choose Sabrina. I was a little surprised that she spared me for the week, but I think she'd rather go after me when she actually has HOH or can vote to evict me.
Alex, Topaz, and myself were chosen to compete in the veto, and I was extremely happy, because I wanted to win it and pull Keesha off the block. Unfortunately, once again the forum had issues, and I wasn't even able to complete the competition in the time limit, but when Sabrina won the veto, I saw that my word wouldn't have been long enough to beat hers anyway.
Alex and Keesha had been talking to me quite a bit this week about how Angie, Kaitlin, and Kenny were in an alliance. I wasn't really surprised, for the simple fact that I was sure there was an alliance out there somewhere, but I was a little surprised that Kenny and Kaitlin were in it without me, because I am fairly close to her, and Kenny has always been my main guy. It did make sense though, since Angie kept him safe with her power.
I suggested to both Alex and Cody that the three of us should team up with Keesha to take them out, and just ride that alliance to the end of the game. They were both on board with the idea, so the first goal was to get Keesha off the block. When Sabrina won the POV, we had to figure something else out. So, Alex came up with a great idea of putting Kaitlin up on the block, and since Sabrina and Keesha are really close, Sabrina would vote Kaitlin out with Alex and myself, and then Cody could send her out the door in the tie breaker. It was a great plan to weaken that alliance without them being able to do anything about it.
Sabrina played the veto on herself like we all expected, and then out of nowhere Cody decided to replace her with Brendan. I was fuming. He was so on board with the blindsiding of Kaitlin, and this came from out of nowhere. I didn't really hide my disappointment in him when we talked about it last night, because I was rather pissed off. He confirmed he'd keep Keesha in if the vote tied, and that he wanted to go with our final four. But, nominating Brendan made absolutely no sense. I like Brendan a lot, but he's a worthless eviction.
So, now I am faced with another tough week of voting someone out of the game that I don't want to. Either Brendan or Keesha. Hopefully Keesha will stay, and hopefully her, Alex, or myself will be able to win the HOH. If we don't then we're pretty much screwed. Cody had told me he hoped he didn't make a mistake, because if he did he was done. I told him that if this turned out to be a mistake, he practically ruined Alex and my own games as well.
I don't know how something so golden and perfect could get screwed up in less than a day, but once again it did. I guess the only silver lining to this horrible week in the game, was that I did make jury like I wanted.
