Woo! I stayed 6-0! Thank God!

I realize that I am behind on everything. I'm behind on my journal and I'm behind on my confessional. I have this plan to analyze the jury and everything deal that I think everyone has so I can map out my path, which will all go to shit since I'll have to adapt to whoever wins what anyway.

But right now I have to practice Mancala. I'm not even sure that I want to win this HOH. After making a deal with Cody and staying 6-0, I don't feel like I have anyone that I can put up. Or at least not two people. I'll update you more on stuff later, I promise.

Okay, so this is where the big update comes in. This round has been pretty easy, and there are no complaints from me. Being in RA training, I have little time to do much of anything, and the majority of my socialization happens via PMing.

I don't anticipate Sabrina is going to use the veto, and if she does, I really don't think she would use it to backdoor me. I can't even imagine that's an option she's considering. Sabrina and I are pretty close and in terms of allies, I think I'm one of the stronger ones she has. She doesn't have many! So, I am am expecting nominations to remain the same, and for Angie to be evicted this week. I'll go into more detail with this, but I think it's better for my game if Kenny stays in the house. Kenny has beef with Cody and Sabrina now, making him a great person to stay in the game.

Additionally, a new alliance has formed!



I'm reallyyyyy excited about this alliance. Kaitlin and Kenny are like a known pair in the game, and I want to be in with them for as long as possible. Kind of situating myself like Andy, but I want to give them way less information. Anyway, the only problem with this group is the link between Topaz and Kenny, but hopefully we can get a group chat going soon and solidify some things. Problem is, people just aren't around enough. But Topaz and I are aware of how close Kaitlin and Kenny are, and we're going to try and work around that. 

At this point, I'm going to assess the cast. Each of the remaining 9 contestants will get a small analysis and a list of people I think they're close with. Hopefully this will be good to look at once it's all complete, rather than just in my brain.

Alex is one of the more interesting cases left in the game. He's a very mysterious player and I have no idea where he stands. He basically told me he was out of the group that almost formed last round of him, Roddy, Cody, and myself, because we did not backdoor Kaitlin. I think he really wanted that move to happen. I do still think that he's close with Roddy. I don't think that he's nearly as close with Kaitlin as a lot of other people are, but he's one of the three people to never be nominated. So, I still do need to watch out for him socially. 


Angie is likely to be evicted this week. I do like Angie, and we've always had good conversations. But we just don't see each other enough. It's hard for me to keep my pulse on her game-wise when I don't get to talk to her all that frequently. I heard that Angie has an alliance with Alex and Topaz, but I think with Roddy, Kenny, and myself wanting to evict Angie, she will leave the BB Pulse house this week.


Cody and I are in an interesting spot. We put each other up, but now all is supposed to be well and good. I don't know if I buy it completely and it's hard because we haven't talked a ton. Hopefully we'll touch base on this eviction vote and be good for next round in the instance that he wins HOH. I don't think that he'd come after me, but I could always be a backdoor target or something. I think that he's close with Roddy and Kaitlin. Roddy wanted to include him in our group of 4, but even with that 4's pressure, he was still unwilling to backdoor Kaitlin. Cody's someone that I have my eye on moving forward.


This is the most dangerous player in the game. She has great taste in BB players, and she is a huge social threat. She's never been nominated and it's obvious why. She is great at connecting with people. But she's also great strategically. I just see her as a HUGE threat and I think that she's been throwing competitions. She needs to be dealt with around the final 7, but I want to fly under her wings until then. I'm hoping people will begin to see the threat that she is, and we can come together and evict her around mid-jury. Love this girl, but she's gotta go. She'll dominate the end-game, I think. I think she has alliances with almost everyone but Angie and Sabrina, and I think she would go after Sabrina or Roddy if she won HOH next week.


Here's where I need to objectively analyze myself. First, I'd be looking at the fact that I stayed 6-0. I clearly am well connected, though staying against Brendon wasn't exactly hard. Also, I've won my fair share of competitions. Especially in regards to memory, people must know I have this game pretty much on lock. (I really do need to update my journal though. Plan to do that after this!) So I definitely have my threatening qualities, but I'm hoping these alliances that I have will carry me past that.


Kenny is basically Kaitlin's bitch. Almost everyone knows that they're super close, but I think people are waiting for the perfect time to strike. Kenny is pretty good socially, and has been able to avoid eviction a couple times now, after being placed on the block. I think that Kenny was close with Angie, but that will all be over now because Angie should be leaving the BB house this week. I think Kenny would go after Sabrina and Cody if he won HOH, so I want him to stick around.


Roddy is scary. He's one of those people that can win nearly any competition that he needs to win. He'll have to be dealt with as a backdoor option, but I don't want to do it. I like Roddy quite a bit and I do think he has my best interests at heart. At least for a little while! I'm not really ready to turn on Roddy. I want Kaitlin to go before him. I think Roddy is on a lot of people's radars, but he has some loyal allies. He has Cody, Alex, Kenny and myself all looking after him.  


Sabrina is also scary. I think that, like Roddy, she can win a ton of competitions. However, she is much less connected than Roddy. I think that a lot of people want to see her gone soon, myself included. Maybe not necessarily next round, but not too long after that. She is a scary competitor. I do think she would keep me safe in the coming weeks though. She's just hard to get a read on in the game because people don't talk about her a lot. I don't think she is in good standing with the house, but I don't know how she feels about others. I could be one of her closest allies in her mind, but I'm just not sure. 


Topaz is an interesting case. She's never been nominated, but I think she's just kind of been out of the spotlight. In terms of getting to the end, I think Topaz is the person that anyone could beat. She's a nice girl but she really hasn't amped it up strategically in the game. I think that her and I are close, and her and Kaitlin are close. I also think that she's close with Angie and Alex, but I don't know what that will look like for eviction this week. Hopefully Angie goes so it pulls her closer to me. If she's throwing comps, that's scary, but if not, I'd love to have her in the endgame where I know that I can beat her.

That's kind of my run down of the cast. Ultimately, I'd like to form a final 2 with Topaz and stick to it. I will frame it as combating the final 2 that Kenny/Kaitlin have within our final 4, then work to really strengthen that group. I like a lot of the people left, but the one thing that's really missing from this game is a group alliance. Things have kind of been all over the place, so I don't know who's pulling the strings. If I had to guess it'd be Kaitlin, but Kenny is nominated so frequently, I'm not sure. 

The game is getting tougher and tougher, but I'm glad that I am almost guaranteed to be final 8 at this point. It's getting to a really exciting time! Winning competitions is going to become increasingly important in making the end, and I want to be there so badly. But I also need to take this game one step at a time, and I think the best next step for me is to evict Angie. So here's to hoping she leaves this week.

Ugh, just wrote a nice update, and I'm tired. I'll be brief.

The vote is going to tie. Roddy, Kaitlin and myself are saving Kenny, and Sab will cast the deciding vote to evict Angie. We agree that Angie is more of an immediate threat and we want Kenny to stick around to make the target on Kaitlin bigger.

Sab and I also agree that we don't trust Alex because he tells a lot of people a lot of things. Originally I thought I would throw the HOH in the FF but now I don't think that I will. I could get 2 noms out with Cody and Alex. It would SUCK to have to name a replacement though. Winning veto would be everything. I hope there are puzzles.

Ultimately, this has been a good week for my game. Angie leaving benefits me quite a bit because I heard she was after Roddy and myself. We'll see where the FF takes us tomorrow, but I'll be there and ready to compete my ass off.

Angie, you're a cool gal but we never connected game-wise. I like that we kept each other safe, but ultimately I had to stick with my alliance in Kenny. I do like you though and I hope that we can catch up after the game's over! Good looking out!

Kenny, I adored you in this game and I think you're a great guy. If you leave then I am very upset and confused. I don't think you'll be reading this, but if you are then I'm so sorry. I kept you and prayed you'd stay, and I will avenge you <3

fast forward

So Angie was evicted - yay! I liked Angie but at the end of the day, her going was way better for my game than Kenny going. Kenny has become a very valuable ally to me, and will only increase in importance as the game goes on.

So the fast forward begins, and I find out the HOH is about SuperCassandra's #TBTs. This is the only thing on the damn board I have not saved. Honestly, I haven't saved them because I didn't know how to fit them in my day journal quite right, so I didn't do it. FUCK being OCD. It nearly landed me in 8th.

So as expected, the only person who came close to me last memory comp won HOH for the fast forward - Cody. I was expecting him to win as soon as he got the first question right. It was painful as hell. I basically knew that I was going to go up. Despite me having a group alliance with Roddy, Cody, and Alex, it was never confirmed, and I knew I stood a great shot at going up. I tried to strike a deal with Cody, and I told him that I would not put him up if he didn't put me up. Not sure that I would have honored it, but it was worth a shot. Nominations went up, and it was Roddy and I on the block. Apparently people had been saying that Roddy and I were making deals with everyone. Whatever.

Roddy going on the block next to me was a blessing and a curse. It was a blessing, because prior to nominations, Kaitlin, Kenny, Topaz and myself agreed that as long as only 1 of us was up at the end of the round, we could all save each other and move into the final 7. So, I instantly knew that if nominations stayed the same, I would be safe for the week. However, Roddy is a great competitor, and I thought Kenny would be the replacement nominee. Being on the block with Kenny at the end of the round would have been tough as hell to survive.

Anyway, we go to do POV and I have this grand idea. I was going to open up the maze and imgur and complete it there. Surely, that would allow me to shave a few seconds off my time, right? Wrong. The brush sizes ended up being too big on imgur, so I had to save it to my computer and open it in paint. The worst! I probably lost about 30 seconds, which is about the amount of time that I lost to Cody. I was SO pissed, but happy that it was Cody who won instead of Roddy. I had faith Cody would keep nominations the same.

That faith followed through, and nominations remained. I cleared things with my alliances, and Sabrina, Topaz, Kenny, and Kaitlin all proved to be loyal and kept me in the game. I stayed 4-1 and I couldn't be happier about it!

Roddy leaving was sad, but he honestly couldn't have left in a better way - me being on the block against him. I think I have a great shot at his jury vote. I know it's early but it's still good to think about each juror as you progress through the game.
