So everything is done and dusted with the Fast Forward and I can say that everything went perfectly for the Fast Forward as far as I'm concerned and I dissected my gameplay for that already, but now let's talk about the deals that were struck and the information that was revealed moving forward.
First off is making that new deal with Kenny. He revealed that alliance to Alex so he is definitely sincere about taking out the bigger threats and destroying those alliances and those people that are working together and that is a useful ally to have on your side. I reaffirmed that by picking him to play in the Veto, which Alex was right behind as well, and that might have raised a few eyebrows if anyone was looking closely, but I think it was a good idea and the other people I was hoping would play did play anyway. In any case, I won that PoV so all that is ancient history as far as I'm concerned. Unfortunately, he (Kenny) couldn't pull off HoH because that would have been amazing and he was so close, but it is a good deal to have in place in any case.
Next up is my chat with Kaitlin and it seems like she will do what's in her powers to get Keesha to target Alex instead of me. Obviously Alex going home is disastrous for me - I love that guy and I trust him 100% and would love to get to the end with him. #TheGrounders
But then with Keesha as HoH, I know I will be nominated, and I will likely be put up next to Alex. I had that chat with Keesha about how we both really get along with one another and like one another but just not in this game, which is so true. I respect Keesha wholeheartedly as a competitor and as a person, especially when you compare her reactions to certain other people and she is irrefutably playing a great game, but at the same time, obviously I need her out if I'm going to win, and obviously that isn't going to happen this week.
Honestly it's not disastrous if she nominates me. If she doesn't nominate me and I am the only person not chosen to participate in the Veto competition, that would majorly suck, and I could quite easily be backdoored as I am an easy nominee or replacement nominee for her.
So back to Alex - if he goes up he said he will take the bullet for me because he thinks I have a shot of winning the game and he himself does not, and he will do so by acting psychotic with people and getting them to evict him over me. I don't really feel comfortable using my friends as human shields but he's a great guy and he would do it regardless what I say.
Having said all that, I would really love to win the Veto and take myself off the block. Then Keesha will be forced to nominate someone else besides Alex and myself, and since she is supposedly aligned with everyone per Alex, she will have to get some blood on her hands which could work to my benefit. If Alex and I are the only people nominated this week, I could quite possibly survive, but it will be at the expense of my closest ally and with Keesha getting no blood on her hands besides my own for a second successive HoH reign. On the other hand, if Alex wins, it would be great for him and he'd guarantee his safety, but who knows what my odds will be like sitting next to whoever else Keesha nominates.
If Alex does go home, he made sure he set up me and Kenny together. That guy is the best wingman a guy could ask for. First he and Jee tell GinaMarie to sleep with me for safety, then he goes and sets up Codrina and now he is setting me up with Kenny... not in that way but it's still good. So that's a little contingency plan in place although obviously I don't want to think about Alex leaving anytime soon.
Whatever happens, it promises to be an interesting and pivotal week in the context of this game and I hope I can find a way of ensuring that Alex and myself BOTH live to fight another day.
